BOTTLENECK DRIVE – Summerland 4 Hours $80 pp

Summerland lies between Penticton and Peachland and is home to 18 (and counting) wineries and cideries. Okanagan Lake lends a beautiful backdrop to the vineyards and orchards. Hiking and biking trails weave their way through the surrounding area. Adding to the uniqueness is the Kettle Valley Steam Railway, which offers exciting train trips to the past.

NARAMATA BENCH – Penticton 4 Hours $80 pp

Overlooking the Eastern shore of Okanagan Lake from Penticton, there are 24 wineries, a microbrewery and two distinctly different distilleries. The quaint Township of Naramata awaits at the end of the wine trail, with sandy beaches perfect for swimming or picnics. Naramata Bench is home to many wonderful restaurants, The Vanilla Pod, Hillside Bistro and The Patio to name just a few.

CORKSCREW DRIVE – Penticton, Okanagan Falls, Kaleden 4 Hours $80 pp

Known as the Heart of Wine country, Corkscrew Drive follows the shores of Skaha Lake (the little sister to Okanagan Lake). This wine route serpentines past gorgeous views of the Lake and many vineyards. At the Southern lakehead you will find Okanagan Falls, a great place for rock climbing, biking and a wonderful place to enjoy the sandy beaches. On the return to Penticton, the route (same Lake, different view) takes you past Kaleden, where orchards and vineyards abound. Of course, there are numerous wineries along the way to test your palate.

OLIVER OSOYOOS WINE COUNTRY – Oliver, Osoyoos 5-6 Hours $115 pp

Located in the deep South of the Okanagan Valley, boasting the only true desert area in Canada, is Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country. Osoyoos is located just minutes from the US Border entry of Oroville and points South. Osoyoos is also home to Canada’s warmest fresh water lake and the community can also boast some of the warmest temperatures in the country. Slightly north by a few kilometers is Oilver, known as the “wine capital of Canada.” Between the “Golden Mile” on the west bench and “Black Sage” on the east, this area is touted for its unique soil, climate and sandy deposits. This mix creates incredible and flavour filled wines. Between them, Oliver and Osoyoos house over 40 wineries. So many varietals, so many opportunities to tempt your taste buds.
